ANITA JUNE (SIZEMORE) SCHUNK, 93, of Dayton, OH formerly of Jasonville, IN passed away at 11:45 P.M. Saturday, January 7, 2023 in Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, OH.
She was born May 31, 1929 in Hamilton, OH to Marvin Vincent Sizemore and Beulah May (Moore) Sizemore.
June married Roy M. Schunk on August 14, 1948, he passed away on April 5, 2005.
Survivors include her sons, Gary Schunk (Betty) of Jasonville, IN, Steve Schunk of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Amanda Bedsaul (Josh) of Foley, AL., Isaac Schunk (Bethany) of Dallas, Tx., Penny Stahl (Donnie) of Jasonville, IN., Angel Chattin (Jeremy) of Clayton, IN., Jenny Owen (William) of Jasonville, IN., Benjamin Shunk (Jamie) of Richmond, IN., Josiah Schunk (Annelise) of Bedford, IN., and Jacob Schunk of Ellettsville, IN.; 22 – great-grandchildren; 2 – great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; siblings, Alice Gordon, Mark Sizemore, and Paul Sizemore.
June graduated from Connersville High School, Connersville, IN. June was very creative and talented, she loved doing crafts and making quilts. She enjoyed decorating her home, liked to travel and spend time with her grandkids.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Friday, January 13, 2023 at Lebanon Cemetery with Pastor Mike Rotman officiating.
