BARBARA JAN LANCASTER, 74, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 7:50 P.M. Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in her home.
She was born July 28, 1951 in Spencer, IN to Carl Hendershot and Darlene G. Hendershot.
She married Marty Lancaster on November 30, 1989.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Marty Lancaster of Jasonville; daughter, Jody Robbins of Louisville, KY; granddaughter, Amelia Robbins; siblings, Carla Allgood, Don Hendershot and Ron Hendershot.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Nick Robbins; brothers, Brad Hendershot and David Hendershot.
Barbara graduated from Spencer High School and worked at AT&T as an operator until retirement. Barbara enjoyed baking cookies and making pies. She was an excellent homemaker.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, cremation was chosen with no services planned at this time.
