HAROLD DAVID “DAVE” BARTON, 65, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 9:29 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in his residence.
He was born June 18, 1948 in Greene County, IN to Harold Junior Barton and Betty (Perigo) Barton.
Dave married Marianne (Humphreys) Barton on February 5, 1972 and she passed away on November 9, 2009.
Survivors include his daughter, Kim Sanders & Jim Clark of Jasonville, IN; son & daughter-in-law, Jeff & Sara Barton of Terre Haute, IN; step-son, Mike Turley & Lisa Killion-Wright of Poland, IN; father, Harold Junior Barton of Linton, IN; brothers & sister-in-law, Doug & Francie Barton of Jasonville, IN and Rick Barton & Vicky Thomas of Spencer, IN; grandchildren, Jocelyn Barton, Kaelyn Barton, Brooklyn Barton, Chris Sanders, Casey Clark; step-grandchildren, Melissa Driscol, Alicia Turley, Mike Turley; step-great-granddaughter, Brianna Driscol; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother; wife; step-mother, Rosella Barton.
Dave had been an over the road truck driver.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana.
Per Dave’s request cremation was chosen. No visitation or funeral services were scheduled.
