BEATRICE MAE (WYATT) GRISHAM, 93, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Jasonville, Indiana. She was born May 27, 1916 in Cory, Indiana to John Tyler Wyatt and Arletta Rose (Jeffers) Wyatt. She was married November 15, 1947 to William Corben Grisham and he preceded her in death January 1986.

Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Donna M. & Ted Betts of Jasonville; grandchildren and their spouses, Steve Betts, Julie & Jim Mascari, Billie Stout, Tim & Gloria Betts, Doris Stout, and Trisha Betts; 14 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Wyatt; great-grandson, Jimbo Mascari; 1st husband, Donald F. Clark; 2nd husband, William C. Grisham.

Bea was an accountant and Air Force librarian, graduated College with a Library Degree and attended Jensen Beach Community Church. She helped establish the Rickenbacker museum at the Rickenbacker Air Base where she also served as an air raid warden during WWII. She also worked in a factory that made radios for US fighter planes. Bea was devoted to her family–dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She helped care for Kayla while she was in her 80’s and dearly loved her.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville, IN. Visitation was 10 a.m. until service time Saturday. Funeral Services were 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010 with Pastor Sam Bush officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Riley, IN.
