BERNICE (nee Ferguson) TENNIS, resting in the arms of the Lord on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the age of 96.
Beloved wife of the late Walter W. Tennis; loving mother of Lynn Porter; dear grandmother of Amy (D.B.) Cummings, Sarah (Perry) Stahlschmidt and Betsy (Jeff) Rachel; dearest great-grandmother of Makayla & Jacob Stahlschmidt, Xander & Matthew Cummings, Jesse & Adam Rachel; preceded in death by her parents Dora and Dexter Ferguson and her sister June Ferguson; our dear aunt, cousin and friend.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday. Funeral Services will immediately follow visitation at 11 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment will be at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN.
