BILL RAY ALLEN, 83, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2026 in his home.
He was born February 22, 1943 in Salt Lick, Floyd County, Kentucky to Arthur Allen and Helen (Allen) Allen.
Bill married Nancy Kay Keene on November 10, 1990.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Allen of Jasonville, IN; son, David (Shelia) Allen of Portsmouth, OH; step children; Larry Keller Jr., Angela Gray; grandchildren, Tabitha Newton, Joshua Allen, Perry Walton, Cody Walton, Michael Walton, Christopher Walton, Danny Felling Jr., Trena Shorter ; great-grandchildren, Riley Allen, Joseph Allen, Zander Bertram, Zayla Sue Bertram; sister, Nadine Ritchey; and many step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Mitch Allen and Kirk Allen; step-daughter, Tammy Keller.
Bill worked at Lile Electric Company where he made electrical wires for more than 10 years and later worked building pallets. He likes to sit on the front porch and watch traffic go by. He enjoyed working outside in the yard mowing and keeping his hands busy. He listened to country and western music and watched western movies when he could find one.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation was chosen with no services scheduled at this time.
