BOB D. GODFREY, 91, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at his home.
He was born September 12, 1934 in Gilmore, IN to parents, John Godfrey & Helen A. (Worth) Godfrey.
Survivors include his sisters, Judith K. Bandy (Paris) of New Palestine & Norma L. Hamilton of Jasonville, IN; & several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ena Mowery; and brothers-in-law, Harold Mowery, Raymond Rehmel and Jasper Hamilton; and nephews, John Rehmel, Tim Rehmel, Gregory Mowery, & Randy Mowery
Bob graduated from Midland High School in the Class of 1951. He worked as a branch manager at the Indiana National Bank which became JP Morgan Chase. He was a member of the Jasonville Church of God. Bob loved vacations, traveling & enjoyed working in his yard.
Bob’s family specially thanks Gentiva Hospice for all the care they gave to Bob.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 6 – 8 pm, Fri, Mar 13, 2026 at the funeral home & 9 am until service time at 1pm, Sat, Mar 14, 2026 with Pastor Dana Duncan and Chaplin Steve Blaydes officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
