BOBBIE R. (DEWEY) TALPAS GABBARD, 88, of Linton, IN passed away at 12:03 P.M. Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Glenburn Home in Linton, IN.
She was born February 17, 1934 in Terre Haute, IN to Emmanual Dewey and Ruth (Zimmerman) Dewey.
Survivors include her son, Mike Talpas (Cathey) of Jasonville, IN; granddaughter, Jamie Hauger; special granddaughter, Donja Goodwill; step-grandson, Jerry Lee Gabbard; stepchildren, Mary Gabbard of Bedford, IN, Robert Earl Gabbard of Columbus, IN; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, John Talpas who passed away January 26, 1991, 2nd husband, William Earl Gabbard who passed away January 16, 2007.
Bobbie enjoyed crafting, fishing and spending time with her family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Bobbie’s wishes cremation is scheduled with a Private Family Graveside Service to be held at a later date.
Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.
