JACK L. BORDERS, 77, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2013 in Greene County General Hospital in Linton, IN.
He was born November 30, 1935 in Jasonville, IN to Clarence Borders and Nellie Irene (Denny) Borders.
Survivors include his wife, Betty L. Borders of Jasonville, IN whom he married on December 1970; daughter, Amy L. Collins of Jasonville, IN; son, Todd L. Borders of Jasonville, IN; sisters, Janice Hamilton of Jasonville, IN, Karen Frayser of Jasonville, IN; brother, Robert Borders of Jasonville, IN; sisters in-law, Tillie Powers of Lewis, IN, Judy Chamness of Terre Haute, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billie Borders.
Jack was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of Jasonville American Legion Post #172. He worked for the Milwaukee, Soo Line and Canadian Pacific Railroads before his retirement.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana.
Private Family Services were at Friendly Grove Cemetery near Lewis, IN with Military Graveside Rites.
