RITA KAY BOSE, 78, of Dugger, Indiana passed away at 7:45 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2017 in Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, IN.  

She was born June 20, 1939 in Jasonville, IN to Richard Harrison and Kathleen (Duckworth) Harrison-Bohnert.

Survivors include her husband, Charles A. “Charlie” Bose of Dugger who she married on December 29, 1994; children, Laura Carlow (Glenn) of Indianapolis, Nancy Swalls (Jim Bo) of Hymera, Susan Crist of Terre Haute; Paula Wright (Dan Luczynski) of Lewis, Toni Sears of Sturgis, KY; step-daughters, Amy Wright of Jasonville, Gina Phillippe (Joe) of Hymera, Angie Raley of Jasonville; 13 grandchildren, Micheal Exline, Bobby Carlow, J.D. Carlow, James Swalls, Jr., Jacob Swalls, Christina Holt, Aaron Crist, Joseph Crist, Britany Wright, Vanessa Nickless, Nicole Sears-Altamere, Ryan Wright, Christopher Phillipe; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, George Harrison (Jeri) of Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Otis Junior Sears; siblings, Dixie Glenn, Marjorie Keller, Harold Harrison, Kenny Harrison.

Kay worked as a beautician and also at Pillsbury in Seelyville. She was a member of the Faith Community Church. She liked to make quilts, work needle-point, and work the cryptogram puzzle in the Terre Haute Tribune Star Newspaper. She was a song leader at church for many years and later sang in the choir. Kay had a very strong faith in God.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Visitation was scheduled from 11 to 1 Wednesday. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Farris officiating.

Interment was at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN.

In lieu of flowers contributions were made in memory of Kay to The American Cancer Society. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
