Brenda Jane Anderson, age 62, of Jasonville, passed away June 4, 2021 at her residence. Born December 26, 1958 in Linton, she was the daughter of Raymond Leroy Kirkpatrick and Clarapatra “Patty” (St. John) Kirkpatrick. She married Michael Wayne Anderson on July 31, 1981. Brenda has worked in the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments for the Linton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center until becoming disabled. She was a firm believer in God. Her hobbies were crochet, fishing, spoiling the grandkids, great grandkids and spending quality time with the family.
Survivors include 2 sons, Shannon Ray Anderson of Jasonville, and Scott William Kirkpatrick and wife Becky of Terre Haute, daughter Theresa Bose of Shelburn; brother Ward Thomas Kirkpatrick of Evansville; 8 grandchildren, Tasha Waters and husband Skyler of CO, Caleb Kirkpatrick, Kore Kirkpatrick, Hannah Kirkpatrick, Leah Kirkpatrick, and Rachael Kirkpatrick of Terre Haute, Nicole Lee and husband Joseph of Terre Haute, and Hannah Bose of Shelburn: great grandson Michael Adam Lee of Terre Haute, whom she was very proud of and adored; great grandkids Sadira and Franklin Waters of CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael Wayne Anderson, her parents, grandparents, great grandparents, 2 sisters, Linda Diane Ferree, April Lynn Kirkpatrick, granddaughter infant Willow Dirchelle Bose,and several cousins.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday June 10th at 1pm at Peavey Cemetery. Cox Funeral Home is in charge of services.
