ROGER A. BRITT, 61, of Sullivan, IN passed away at 4:37 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2013 in Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.
He was born September 24, 1952 in Salem, IL to Samuel and Mary Doris (Sprinkle) Britt.
Survivors include his brother, Ronald L. Britt of Salem, IL; companion, Bonney Mataya of Sullivan, IN; children, Kattie Mataya Adams of Sullivan, IN and Chris Mataya of Tolono, IL; 5 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews & friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He worked as a self-employed Carpenter. Roger was a member of the Sullivan American Legion Post.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with a Memorial Service scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Crossroads Community Church; 2 South Court St.; Sullivan, IN. As Roger requested cremation was scheduled.
