HAROLD R. BURGER, 76, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 in his residence.
He was born February 14, 1939 in Jasonville, IN to Herman Christopher Burger and Mary Mae (Cooper) Burger.
Harold married Mary Lee (Null) Burger on April 1, 1959 and she passed away on July 10, 2011.
Survivors include his son, John Burger of Jasonville, IN; sisters, Betty R. Goodman of Jasonville, IN, Barbara L. Null of Jasonville, IN, Cathy Burger-Johnson-Christman of Decatur, IN; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Elmer Eugene Burger, Herman Franklin Burger; sister, Joann Hadley; son, Terry E. Burger.
Harold worked as a brick maker for different companies and had also worked at Malleable and Manufacturing in Terre Haute, IN. He was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church. Harold loved fishing and hunting. He was the happiest when he could be on a pond. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Graveside Services were 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN with Pastor Jerry Ross officiating. Military Graveside Rites followed.
