MICHAEL A. “MIKE” CADWELL, 69, of Midland, Indiana passed away at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in Greene County General Hospital, Linton, IN.
He was born November 22, 1948 in Linton, IN to Richard L. Cadwell and Margaret M. (Weatherwax) Cadwell.
Survivors include his wife, Mary J. (Bush) Cadwell of Midland, IN whom he married on May 23, 1975; children, Tina Carver (Daniel) of Bloomington, Tom Cadwell (Kayle) of Bloomington, Keli Kruse (Dustin) of Bloomington; grandchildren, Sophie, Jake, Charlie and Oliver on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mike was a Shakamak High School Graduate. After he graduated, Mike served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War (1967-1969). He worked for AT&T for over 40 years before his retirement in 2005. He enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, Civil War history and college football.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Visitation was scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 1 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Tucker officiating.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
