RICHARD L. “DICK” CADWELL, 89, of Midland, Indiana passed away at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 in I.U. Health Bloomington, Bloomington, IN.
He was born September 4, 1922 in Greene County, IN to Geoffrey Cadwell and June (Myers) Cadwell.
Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Mary of Bloomington, IN; sister, Pat Tucker of Midland, IN; grandchildren, Tina & Dan Carver, Thomas Cadwell, Keli Cadwell; great-grandchildren, Sophia Carver, Jacob Carver, Charles Carver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret M. (Weatherwax) Cadwell on July 30, 1999; sisters, Sally Cadwell and Sue Cadwell.
Dick had worked as a school bus driver for Metropolitan School District of Shakamak, was an independent truck driver, and was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Graveside Services were 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN with Pastor Randy Tucker officiating.
