LINDA LOU (CARPENTER) CANADY, 71, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 5:21 p.m. Saturday, October, 24, 2015 in Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, IN.
She was born November 1, 1943 in Lyons, IN to Gail Ethel Carpenter and Agnes Irene (Dove) Carpenter.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Canady of Jasonville, IN, whom she married on March 6, 1961; daughters & son-in-law, Tonita Wilson of Evansville, IN and Angela and Clarence Covington of Anderson, IN; son & daughter-in-law, Albert, Jr. and Terri Canady of Columbus, IN; sisters, Dollie Pickett of Switz City, IN and Nancy Yvonne Gillespie of Dugger, IN; brother, Ray Carpenter of Lyons, IN; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sherry Lee Axe.
Linda was the Post Master at Midland Post office for 27 years. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband, Albert.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Graveside Services were 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Lebanon Cemetery with Pastor Randy Tucker officiating.
