CARL L. GOAD, 69, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in Greene County General Hospital, Linton, Indiana. He was born November 2, 1940 in Jasonville, IN to Robert Franklin Goad and Ruth Evelyn (Thomas) Goad.
Survivors include a son & daughter-in-law, Don & Denise Goad of Homer Glen, IL; sister & brother-in-law, Sandra & Bill Fiscus of Jasonville; half-brother, Robert Goad of Anapolis, MD; half-sister, Carol True of Shrewsburg, PA; grandchildren, Michael P. Goad and Ashley R. Goad; former wife, Betty Goad of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark A. Goad; grandmother, Frankie Thomas.
Carl worked as a refrigeration mechanic at Carrier Transcold and was a member of the Son’s of the Jasonville American Legion Post #172.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville, IN. Visitation was 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral Services were 2 p.m. June 19, 2010 with Pastor Ronald Zimmerman officiating. Interment was in Peavey Cemetery, Howesville, IN
