CAROLYN F, (EDMONSON) HOWARD, 77, of Hymera, IN passed away at 8:41 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2026 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 23, 1948 in Jasonville, IN to Orval Edmonson and Madge M. (Keller) Johnson.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James E. “Jim” Howard of Hymera, IN who she married on December 11, 1964; children, Todd Howard of Hymera, IN, Jimmy Howard of Hymera, IN, Thomas Howard of Hymera, IN; grandchildren, Brandon Howard, Todd Howard Jr., Thomas Howard, Cheyenne Howard, Autumn Howard, Andrew Howard, Landen Howard; 9 — great-grandchildren; siblings, Sue Danko of Hymera, IN, Bill Edmonson of Hymera, IN, Jerry Edmonson of Attica, IN; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jackie Howard; granddaughter, Ashley Dawn Howard; brother, Ronnie Edmonson
Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a home maker and loved caring for her family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Carolyn’s wishes, cremation is scheduled. There will be a burial of her ashes at K of P Cemetery in Hymera at a later date.
