ROSETTA JOANN CARSON-MUMMA, 85, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away at 7:00 a.m. November 11, 2016 in her daughter’s residence in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born April 8, 1931 in Sullivan County, IN to Fred Rehmel and Elpha (Criss) Rehmel.

Rosetta married Franklin L. “Bud” Mumma, Sr. on married July 10, 2004 and he passed away on July 2, 2010.

Survivors include her daughters, RaJenna Carson of Pensacola, FL, Rebecca Sanders of Farmersburg, IN, Andrea Summerlot of Terre Haute, IN, Eva Roeschlein of Columbia, IL, Alicia Bailey of Indianapolis, IN, Pamela Davis of Indianapolis, IN; sons, Gary Carson of Evansville, IN, Bryan Carson of Farmersburg, IN, Ray Carson II of Greenwood, IN; step-son and daughter-in-law, Franklin & Sheilla Mumma, Jr. of Jasonville, IN; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Joy Franklin “Short” Rehmel of Shelburn, IN; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mike Carson; brothers, Fred Rehmel, Jr., Carol “Chuck” Rehmel, Donald “Sonny” Rehmel.

Rosetta was owner/operator of Trimi Cleaning Service for 20 years, had worked at Columbia House for 8 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Coalmont Church of God.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Visitation was scheduled from 11 to 1 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services followed visitation at 1 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Cox Funeral Home.

Interment was at Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, IN.
