MICHAEL G. ‘MIKE’ CAZEE,  66, of Farmersburg, Indiana passed away at 11:37 A.M., Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

He was born February 27, 1949, in Bedford, Indiana to William Fredrick and Mary Alice (Kern) Cazee.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie E. (Teague) Cazee, of Farmersburg, IN, whom he married on April 21, 1973; sons and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Angela Deckard of Farmersburg, Anthony Cazee of Jasonville, IN, and Michael Masterson of Louisville, KY; grandson, Caleb Johnson; brothers and sister-in-law, Jack Cazee of Jasonville, IN, and Don and Teresa Cazee of Jasonville, IN; sister-in-law and husband, Leanne and Bruce Smith of Dugger, IN; nieces and nephews, Susie Cazee, Sandy Swan, Brent and Joni Cazee, Brad and Blair Cazee, Ronn and Brittney Cazee, Jackie Cazee, Michelle Cornelius, Jeremiah Smith, Gregory Matthew Teague.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ron Cazee.

Mike graduated from Shakamak High School in 1967 and served in the U.S. Army.  He was employed with Tredegar of Terre Haute, IN as well as Peabody Coal, Crane NSWC as a K-9 Unit Trainer, and G.E. in Linton, IN.  Mike attended First Baptist Church of Shelburn in Shelburn, IN.  Mike was a member of the Carlisle Masonic Lodge #3 F&AM.

Mike enjoyed old cars, crafts, fishing, boating, camping, and riding motorcycles.  He rode with American Legion Riders and ABATE Motorcycle Club District 12.  Mike loved music from the 60’s, older church hymns, and country music.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 5-8 P.M. with Masonic Memorial Service at 7 P.M. with funeral services at 8 P.M. on Thursday, February 18, 2016, at the Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Wetherington officiating.  As Mike requested, cremation followed the funeral services.

Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN, at a later date with Military Graveside Rites.
