CECIL E. FRAYSER, 85, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 12:14 P.M. Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, IN.

He was born November 3, 1936 in Linton, IN to John Joseph Frayser and Mina Marie (Foster) Frayser.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Karen (Borders) Frayser ofJasonville, IN whom he married on December 5, 1958; children, Sally Edwards (Stacy) of Coalmont, IN, Beth Faught (Joe) of Coalmont, IN;       grandchildren, Dave Frayser Jr., Jesse West, Ryan Wade, April Gorby, Justice Binion, Casey Frayser, Rebecca Burns, Regina Edmonson, Shaylee Swalls, Jase Emanus; many – great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Clark of Linton, IN; several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Steve Frayser, Matthew Frayser, David Frayser Sr.; two brothers, John Frayser, Roy Frayser.

Cecil worked in construction having owned his own carpentrybusiness for a while, he also worked as a tree trimmer and also at Midland Glass in Terre Haute. Cecil enjoyed music and was in a band, Country Green Band with Bill and Ruth Quinlan for several years, and then the Bestest Friends Band. He could play any instrument he picked up. He loved gardening and was known for his tomato plants and enjoyed mowing his yard.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 2 P.M. with Pastor David Smith officiating.    

Interment will be at Friendly Grove Cemetery in Lewis, IN.
