CHERYL ANN (WEST) NEFF, 71, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 12:05 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2025 in Serenity Springs Senior Living in Jasonville, IN.
She was born September 13, 1954 in Le Mars, IA to Donald Glen West and Margaret Lorraine (Collins) West.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Donald Neff of Jasonville, IN who she married on March 2, 1974; sons, Daniel Neff (Angela) of Jasper, IN, Matthew Neff (Leigh Anne) of Linton, IN; grandsons, Dawson Ray Neff, Adam James Neff; siblings, Mitchell West of St. Joseph, MO, Ronald “Bugs” West of Stanberry, MO, Donald West Jr. of Stanberry, MO, Laura West of Stanberry, MO, Daniel West of Yale, IA; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cheryl graduated high school in 1972. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army. She worked at the Wal-mart supercenter in various positions for 23 years. Cheryl was a member of Dugger Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Cheryl will be lovingly remembered for her kind heart and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She had a special gift for caring for children, always making them feel safe, loved, and important. Cheryl found happiness in the simple things- a good book, time spent with family, and sharing her love through her cooking. Her kitchen was the heart of every gathering, filled with warmth and smells of her famous yeast rolls that became a cherished tradition. Cheryl’s love and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 2 p.m. with Pastor Nick Moore officiating.
Interment will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, IN with Military Graveside Rites.
