CHERYL SUE (POINTER) FAUGHT, 76, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 1:05 P.M. Saturday, February 13, 2021 in her home.

She was born August 5, 1944 in Brazil, IN to Virgil Walter Lee Pointer and Audrey Leota (Armpriester) Pointer.

Cheryl married Danny Faught September 1963 and he passed away on May 1976.

Survivors include her children, Kimberly Faught of Jasonville, IN, Audra Buchanan (Andy) of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Brittany Faught (Matthew Austin), Shaley Buchanan; great-grandchildren, Addison Austin, Blayze Austin; sister, LeeAnn Wise (Joe) of Jasonville, IN; sister in-laws, Judy Marsh (Monty) of Jasonville, IN, Imogene Faught of Lafayette, IN, Mary Jane Faught of Jasonville, IN; brother in-laws, Richard Faught of Florida, Ben Faught of Tennessee, Jim Faught of Jasonville, IN; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Karen Fisk.

Cheryl graduated Coalmont High School Class of 1962. She retired from Duke Energy where she had worked for many years. Cheryl attended and was a member of Shakamak Community Church. She was quite the crafter, enjoying scrap-booking, sewing, crocheting, needlepoint and card making. Cheryl cherished the time spent with her family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday at Shakamak Community Church 5730 W. State Road 48, Jasonville, IN. Funeral Services are 8 P.M. Friday, February 19, 2021 with Pastor Ron Riggs officiating. Due to Covid the family request all those attending to wear masks and social distance, thank you for your cooperation.

Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN at 10 A.M. Saturday.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Cheryl to help with funeral and medical expenses. Envelopes are available at the church.
