CHESTER ARTHUR FLANDERS, JR., 60, of Rodessa, Louisiana and formerly of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2018 in Rodessa, LA.

He was born December 16, 1957 in Sullivan, IN to Chester Arthur Flanders and Wanda (Keller) Flanders.

Survivors include his siblings, Johann Weatherwax of Germany, Rose Hansen (Mark) of Rodessa, LA, Lois Butts (Randy) of Jasonville, Dorothy Taylor (Joe) of West Terre Haute, Barbara Harris of Jasonville, Gladys Bailey of PA, Wanda Anderson of Indianapolis, George Flanders (Chris) of Merom, William Flanders (Theresa) of Jasonville, Danny Anderson (Jess) of Jasonville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Flanders Sr.; step-father, William Anderson; mother, Wanda Anderson Shepherd; 2 nephews; 2 great-nieces.

Chester enjoyed collecting comics, trains, wrestling figures, action figures-mainly Batman.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 to 1 Saturday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will immediately follow visitation at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Riordan officiating.

Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
