CLARA ROSE (LINN) CAZZELL, 86, of Dugger, IN passed away at 11:26 A.M. Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Serenity Springs in Jasonville, IN.
She was born June 3, 1939 in Pleasantville, IN to Oliver Linn and Alvina Linn (Kardokus).
Clara married Lester Cazzell on December 24, 1957. He passed away in 2001.
Survivors include her son, David Cazzell (Judy) of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Heidi Hines (Chris) of Terre Haute, and Dustin Miller (Amber) of Jasonville, IN; great-grandchildren, David Hines (Samantha), Emily Hines-Enyeart (Thom), Tabitha Morris (Christian), Amanda Patton (Jacob), Julia Stogdill (Marvin); great-great-grandchildren; Khyber Hines, Kamryn Patton, and Esmae Stogdill; good friend, Deborah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter, Connie Cazzell, and her brothers and sisters.
Clara worked at Charles Industries on the factory line and retired as a supervisor. She was a member of Bethel Community Church in Dugger for many years. Clara’s most special hobby was crochet. She lovingly crafted afghans to give as gifts to family and friends. She was technology minded and one to also figure out how things worked. Clara was a lifelong green thumb who enjoyed tending to her house plants.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Graveside Services to be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Dugger Cemetery with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
