MARCIA J. (GRIDER) COLENNE, 70, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Jasonville, IN. She was born June 30, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN to Archel Grider and Faye (Unknown) Grider.
Survivors include a son, Shawn L. Grider of Seagoville, TX; special friends, Sherri & Floyd Cramer of Jasonville, IN, Betty Martindale of Jasonville, IN, Mike & Leila May of Jasonville, IN, Kevin & Chris Cesinger of Jasonville, IN, Hannah Cesinger of Jasonville, IN, The Gang at Jasonville Country Kitchen, Jim & Sharon Rice of Jasonville, IN, Eric Head & family of Sullivan, IN; her pets, Xena, Ice, Zeus and Gabby. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Adelia Grider; special friend, Walter Burks.
Marcia worked at the Jasonville American Legion. She enjoyed her books and was always learning.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville, IN. Visitation was Noon until 1:00 p.m. service time Thursday at the Funeral Home. Memorial Services were 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010 with Rev. Curtis Mitchell officiating. Interment was in Lebanon Cemetery, Midland, Indiana.
