MARVIN LARRY CRAWL, 77, of Richmond, Indiana passed away at 5:21 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 in Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.  

He was born April 4, 1940 in Hammond, IN to Lester Crawl and Elva (Pirtle) Crawl.

Survivors include his children, Christopher Joseph Crawl (Ileana) of Montgomery, IL, Cari Lee Crawl of Batavia, IL, Paul Clemens Crawl of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Jessica Crawl, Jeremiah Crawl, Isabella Crawl, Brian Crawl, Emily Crawl; 6 great-grandchildren; cousin, Carolyn Chandler (Dale); nephew, Dan Crawl of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lester Crawl.

Marvin graduated high school in Lansing, IL. He retired from Belden Wire and Cable in Richmond, IN where he worked in sales. He was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Richmond. Marvin volunteered at Head-Start in Richmond. He loved the outdoors-camping, canoeing and hiking. Marvin adored his grandchildren. He was in the U.S. Army Reserves until 1966.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Graveside Services were 1 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN with Pastor Bob Dickey officiating.
