JERROL “JERRY” LEE CRECELIUS, 73, of Clay City, Indiana passed away at 5:05 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 in his residence.
He was born December 1, 1944 in Vigo County, IN to Paul Crecelius and Eva Mae (Russell) Crecelius Gillaspy.
Jerry married Wanda G. (Norris) Crecelius on May 12, 1976 and she passed away on August 23, 2017.
Survivors include his son, Jeremy Crecelius (Kristan); step-daughter, Juanita Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sister, Joyce Rehmel; brother, Donald Paul Crecelius; step-children, Nancy Hedges, Freddie Hedges.
Jerry had worked on RCA tv’s and small appliances. He was a farm-hand for Virgil and Stanley Marlow. Jerry attended the Jasonville Assembly of God Church. He worked on cars, lawnmowers and enjoyed watching tv.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Visitation was scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment was at Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City, IN.
