ANNA MAE CRISS, 92, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away in the loving arms of her Savior at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Union Hospital Terre Haute, IN.
She was born November 7, 1921 in Jasonville, IN to James Curtis Bartlett and Pearl (Whittington) Bartlett.
Anna Mae married Harvey E. Criss on December 24, 1941 and he passed away on December 30, 2000.
Survivors include her daughters & sons-in-law, Martha Ann & Melvin Clark of Terre Haute, IN, Melva Lou & Frank Riggs of Fort Wayne, IN; son, Curtis H. Criss of Lewis, IN; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Lou Zigler of Terre Haute, IN; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Lenora Bartlett, Avanell Nicoson on June 10, 2000.
Anna Mae was a homemaker. She was a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church in Terre Haute, IN. She loved her Lord. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Cox Funeral Home with Chaplain Richard Triestram officiating.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
Memorial Contributions were made to the Greenwood Baptist Church Ladies Missionary in Terre Haute, IN. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
