CHARLES WILLIE CRYSEL, 75, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 10:24 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2016 in Sullivan County Community Hospital.

He was born December 7, 1940 in Jasonville, IN to Welby Willie Crysel and Freida (Dickerson) Crysel.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Shad MeJean of Jasonville, IN; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles David Crysel of Wilmington, NC, Doug & Michele Crysel of Sullivan, IN; grandchildren, Presli Holmes, Blake Holmes, Megan & Chad McManigell, Bryce Crysel, Brynna Crysel, Bryce Umphress, Brittany Bryant; great-grandchildren, Waylon McManigell, Bryton Kuehn, Hailey Bryant, Wyatt Umphress, Reagen Umphress; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Harry and Vikki Kirton of Jasonville, IN, Delbert Dickey of Paragon, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Crysel; sisters, Betty Burger, Linda Mattox, June Vaughn.

Charles had worked at Chrysler in Indianapolis, IN, JI Case in Terre Haute, IN, Otis Elevator in Bloomington, IN until his retirement in March of 2003. He was a member of the Jasonville American Legion Post #172. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled at the Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday with Funeral Services immediately following Visitation at 8 p.m. with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.

Graveside Committal Services were 10 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at the K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating and Military Graveside Rites.
