RODNEY R. CULLISON, 58, of Hymera, Indiana passed away at 9:50 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 in his residence.
He was born May 24, 1953 in Sullivan, IN to Ronald E. Cullison and Deloris (Burton) Cullison.
Survivors include his spouse, Patricia “Teresa” (Rowe) Cullison of Hymera, IN whom he married on May 3, 2006; daughter, Candy K. Cullison & Terry Rains of Bowling Green, IN; sons & daughters-in-law, Darrick & Jaime Cullison of Hymera, IN, Nick & Jessica Cullison of Hymera, IN; mother, Deloris Cullison of Linton, IN; grandmother, Juanita Hill of Hymera, IN; step-son, Eli Thompson of Hymera, IN; sister, Deann & John James of Linton, IN; brother, Jack Cullison of Linton, IN; mother-in-law, Ruth Swiger of Sullivan, IN; 11 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Fred & Marie Cullison and Virgil & Lucille Bose and grandfather, Roy Hill.
Rod had worked at G.E., was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of the Linton National Guard. He was well known for his love and passion for his family, friends and animals. Rod was an ordained minister and had great love for the Lord.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Norman Santus officiating.
Interment was at Oak Grove Cemetery in Wilfred, IN with military graveside rites.
