CYNTHIA K. “CINDY” (ECCLES) RAWLEY, 73, of Jasonville, IN passed away 5:20 P.M. Monday, July 19, 2021 in Gibson Family Hospice Center in Terre Haute, IN.
She was born April 28, 1948 in Brazil, IN to Robert Eccles and Dorothy (Jenkins) Grady.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Jay Rawley of Jasonville, IN whom she married on September 3, 1976; children, Angi Wheat (Rob) of Jasonville, IN, Tabi Ferguson (Jim) of Papillion, NE;grandchildren, Brittney Galloway (PJ), Travis Coleman (Brandi), Lauren Stiegelmeyer (Scott), Ashleigh Sevier, MacKenzie Ferguson; great-grandchildren, Mahayla Boram, Aubrie Galloway, BrystolGalloway, Miles Stiegelmeyer, Brooks Coleman, Blakelyn Coleman;mother, Dorothy Grady of Jasonville, IN; siblings, Cathy Mason (Mike) of Jasonville, IN, Christy Kennett ( Kenny) of Jasonville, IN;serveral nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Eccles; step-father, James Grady; brother, Jeff Eccles.
Cindy graduated Shakamak High School Class of 1966. She retired from GE in Linton, IN in 1994 after 25 years of service. Cindy was an active member of Jasonville American Legion Auxillary Post# 172 for 41 years. She loved her family and spending time with them and her many friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. Monday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 1 P.M. Monday, July 26, 2021 with Pastor Mark Messmerofficiating.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Cindy to Jasonville American Legion Auxillary Post# 172. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
