DAVID GENE RICH, 74, of Terre Haute, IN passed away at 1:19 P.M. Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in The Waters of Greencastle in Greencastle, IN.
He was born April 7, 1947 in Sullivan, IN to Thomas Noah Rich and Ruby Saverne Rich.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Brenda L. Rich of Terre Haute, IN who he married on March 3, 1996; step-children, Lisa Michelle Leonard (Ralph) of Terre Haute, IN, Lori Jo Swaby (Dan) of Farmersburg, IN, Brent Matthew Burger of Terre Haute, IN; step-grandchildren, Ethan Thomas Corbin, Dawson Joseph Corbin, Matthew Adam Corbin, Sarah Christine Swaby, Andrew Joseph Swaby; several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David graduated from Shakamak High School Class of 1965. He also graduated from ISU in Terre Haute, IN. David was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from Noon to 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 2 P.M. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 with Pastor Mike Rotman officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN with Military Graveside Rites.
