WESLEY DEAN, 88, of Terre Haute, IN passed away at 10:40 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2015 in Westminster Village Health & Rehab in Terre Haute, IN.

He was born August 17, 1926 in Clay County, IN near Howesville, IN to Charles Dean and Mabel (Davis) Dean.

Wesley married O’Deama (Loveless) Dean who passed away on June 29, 2003.

Survivors include his brother, Melvin Dean of Coalmont, IN; sister, Mary Ann Dean Machonkin of Homassa, FL; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Young of Linton, IN, Wanda Rose “Peg” Dean of Terre Haute, IN; several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, O’Deama Dean; son, Alan Dean; twin brother, Leslie Dean.

Wesley attended school at Bogle Corner and Coalmont Schools. He joined the Merchant Marines during WWII, after discharge from the Merchant Marines he took a job with Pfizer Company. Wesley worked at the Terre Haute facility for 30 years before retiring in 1983.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Brad West officiating.

Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
