DEANNA KAY (Clark) MILLS, 66, of Hymera, Indiana passed away 1:16 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010 in Sullivan County, IN as a result of an automobile accident. She was born November 1, 1943 in Terre Haute, IN to Willis Elza Clark and Wanda Lee (Bennett) Walker.

Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Bethany & Travis Vickers of Jasonville; Bethany’s father, Stanley Mills of Cheyenne, WY; sisters & brother-in-law, Carol Jernigan of Jasonville, Patti & Chuck Brodie of Sullivan, Sandra Dee Walker of Shelburn; brothers & sisters-in-law, Steven & Betty Clark of Fairbanks, Kenneth & Baukje Clark of Jasonville, Gary & Ann Clark of Sullivan, Stanley & Johnnie Walker of Shelburn, Donald & Tina Walker of Dugger;  several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Most everyone described Deanna as the nicest person they ever knew. She had an enormously large and kind heart. Deanna was good to all people, soft spoken and always polite. She was the type of person you could always easily talk to and was always there to listen as a friend. Deanna was a very creative individual. She enjoyed home decorating, sewing, knitting, and craft work. Deanna was a wonderful mother, a great family member, a beautiful human being, and a true dear friend to so many people.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was 2-6 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010 at the funeral home with the Funeral Service directly following visitation at 6 p.m.  A committal service was 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN with Pastor Norman Santus officiating.
