JACK WARREN DICKEY, 79, of Shelburn, Indiana passed away at 1:05 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 in Union Hospital Terre Haute, IN.

He was born August 8, 1933 in Greene County, IN to John Monroe Dickey & Ellen May (Borders) Dickey.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Lucille (Joseph) Dickey of Shelburn, IN whom he married on June 25, 1960; daughters & sons-in-law, Theresa & Mel Pinkston of Hymera, IN, Tracy & Mark Crosby of Coalmont, IN, Kelly & Mike Mills of Shelburn, IN; son, Jack Wayne Dickey of Hymera, IN; brother & sister-in-law, Dean & Rosie Dickey of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Gayle Terrell, Michael Crosby, Matthew Crosby, Samantha Crosby, Connor Mills; great-grandchildren, Ava Singhurse, Koye Crosby; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Warren Dickey, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Jack had retired as owner-operator of an auto parts store after 40 years where he serviced vehicle motors and transmissions. He was a member of the Shelburn First Baptist Church and Shelburn American Legion Post #197. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jack was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. service time Saturday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Riggs officiating.

Interment was at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN.
