DONALD A. MCNABB, 75, of Linton, Indiana formerly of Jasonville, IN passed away at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his residence in Linton, IN.
He was born March 19, 1943 in Sullivan, IN to Lavaughn and Ruby (Steele) McNabb.
Donald married E. Mae Bailey September 1, 1963 and who passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011.
Survivors include his children, Cheryl (Virgil) Franklin of Linton, IN; David (Amy) McNabb of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Julie (Rob) Snyder, Kelly Fougerousse, Clifford Franklin, Kayla (Dalton) Hester, Taylor Franklin, Lucas McNabb, Jared Franklin and Caleb McNabb; great-grandchildren, Preston and Audrey Snyder, Macie Mounlio; siblings, Dwight (Donna) McNabb of Jasonville, IN, Dan (Linda) McNabb of Bloomington, IN; many nieces, nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; still born sister, Teresa McNabb.
Donald graduated from Bloomington High School then worked at Peabody Shops as a clerk. He also drove for Schneider National Carriers. Donald was a member of the Summerville Church of Christ. He enjoyed sports, especially watching his grandson, Jared, play Linton Miner Basketball. Donald enjoyed baseball and was a fan of IU basketball and the Cubs. Donald also enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, August 28 and 9 a.m. Wednesday August 29, 2018, until service time at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Borders and Pastor Doug Cassel officiating.
Entombment will be at Valhalla Memory Garden Cemetery in Monroe County, Indiana.
