DONALD D. “DONNIE” BICKEL, 60, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 9:56 P.M. Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at his home.
He was born October 5, 1961 in Linton, IN to Donald W. Bickel and Lucy (Edelman) Bickel.
Survivors include his children, Tosha Holt (Logan) of Graysville, IN, Travis Bickel of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; grandchildren, KingsonSilcott, Oliver Holt, Lily Holt and coming soon Sage Holt all at home; siblings, Donna Bradbury (Jim) of Jasonville, IN, Diane Mitchell of Jasonville, IN, Nancy Jones (Dennis) of Jasonville, IN, Debra Strahla (Steve) of Jasonville, IN, Cheryl Reed (Jeff) of Indianapolis, IN; many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly; special friends, Josh Bohnert, Bo Samm, Butch McVickers, Tim Killian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother David Bickel; brother in-law, Kerry Mitchell; nephew, Billy Turley.
Donnie worked at various jobs throughout his life, most recently he owned and operated his own scrap yard. Donnie found great peace and joy when out in the woods hunting, fishing and trapping. He would often share his bounty with families in need.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 4 P.M. Monday, May 9, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Memorial Services are immediately following.
