DONALD L “DON” GRASSICK SR., 80, of Terre Haute, IN passed away at 4:18 P.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2020 in Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.
He was born January 26, 1940 in Terre Haute, IN to Andrew Grassick and Ella (Grayless) Grassick.
Survivors include his daughters, Darla K. Scales of Jasonville, IN, Kathy Morris of Terre Haute, IN; son & daughter-in-law, Donald L. Grassick Jr. (Rachele) of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Travis, Joshua, Kimberly, Brandon, Brittany, Daphney, Tiffany, Jonathan, Matthew, Anthony, Chad, Daniel, Christopher, Kara, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Bill Carpenter of Terre Haute, sister, Brenda Hendrix of Terre Haute, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Allen Grassick. Son, Jacob LeRoy Grassick Braun.
Don was a U.S. Army Veteran who served as a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Div.. He worked as Manager for Terre Haute Building Maintenance. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved the outdoors.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Graveside Services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2020 at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN.
