DONALD RAY CRUSE, 75, passed away at 2:00 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Jasonville, Indiana. He was born September 22, 1933 in Switz City, Indiana to Ray Cruse and Delilah (Brannon) Cruse. He was married to Anna Mae (Ellis) Cruse on June 8, 1951 and she preceded him in death on March 12, 2009.

Survivors are daughter & son-in-law, Cheryl & Greg Davis of Bloomfield; sons & daughter-in-law, Chris Cruse and Companion Gini King of Sullivan and Greg & Julia Cruse of Jasonville; grandchildren, Chad Davis & Sara and Evan & Noah Cruse; great-grandchildren, Brycelynn Davis and Lane Davis. He was preceded by his parents; wife, Anna Mae Cruse; and grandson, Bryce Davis.

Don worked for GH Allen Construction, a Bridge Construction Company and was a member of Lincoln Christian Church for over 50 years.  He enjoyed playing basketball when he was in school.  Enjoyed gardening, was a wood worker, liked bird watching and just enjoyed nature.  Don was just handy and hands on whether it was mechanicing a car, or playing guitar.  Don took a correspondence course for basic electrical wiring.

Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday until service time at the Lincoln Christian Church. Funeral Services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Lincoln Christian Church with Pastor Clifford Gano officiating. Interment was at Walker Cemetery in Rural Linton. Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Ferguson-Lee Inc., Haverly Chapel.
