DORIS J. (GRAY) MAY

DORIS J. (GRAY) MAY, 86, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 10:18 A.M. Wednesday, August 28, 2024 in Serenity Springs Senior Living in Jasonville, IN. She was born July 26, 1938 in Evansville, IN to Harry Clifford Gray and Mildred Beatrice (Cokley) Gray. Doris married Albert Ray Ladson on June 30, 2008, he passed away on May 25, 2022. Survivors include her son, Ralph Gallagher of Walterboro, SC; grandchildren, Gary Gould (Tina), Patrick Gallagher; great-grandchildren, Shayley Gould, John Gould, Maddie Riley, Millie Riley; great-great-grandchild, Brilly Miller; siblings, Norma Wilson of Sullivan, IN, Naomi McClure of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur May; son, Rickey Gallagher; daughter, Minney Sue Terrell; sister and brothers. Doris attended and was a member of Jasonville Church of God. She was a homemaker and loved and cared for her family. Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the        Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 2 P.M. with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating. Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Jasonville, IN.
