NAOMI DUNCAN, 100, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.
She was born May 27, 1914 in Clay County, IN to Theodore Landis and Lillie (Sheets) Landis.
Naomi married Raymond Pete Duncan on July 12, 1933 and he passed away on May 13, 2001.
Survivors include her daughter, Ruth E. Duncan of Jasonville, IN; several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Ertis Wolfe, Olive Miller, Marie Miller, Millard Landis, Chester Landis.
Naomi was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a member of the Lawton Street Christian Church.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Services followed visitation at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment was at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
