RUTH E. DUNCAN, 82, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 3:12 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN.
She was born July 17, 1934 in Greene County, IN to Raymond B. “Pete” Duncan and Naomi E. (Landis) Duncan.
Survivors include her cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ruth Graduated from Midland High School. She had worked as a Hairdresser, Dental Assistant and then at Keller Chair Factory. She was a homemaker and caregiver to her parents. She was a member of Lawton Street Christian Church where she was always involved in church. Ruth enjoyed gardening with her mother and enjoyed her flowers and flowering trees. She also enjoyed her pets, whether birds or dogs.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Visitation was Noon to 1 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment was at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
