NORMAN E. DUZAN, 76, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.
He was born March 4, 1936 in Clark County, IL to Forrest Duzan and Leota Pearl (Allen) Duzan.
Survivors include his wife, Edith R. (Shidler) Keller-Duzan of Jasonville, IN whom he married on April 10, 1986; daughters & sons-in-law, Amy & Clint House of Linton, IN, Lisa & Mike Reed of Terre Haute, IN, Debbie & Terry McDaniel of Spencer, IN, Cindy & Greg Kline of Edwardsville, IL; sons & daughters-in-law, Darin & Erin Duzan of Terre Haute, IN, Mark & Debbie Yeske of Decatur, IL, John & Debi Keller of Brazil, IN, Rob Keller of Indianapolis, IN; special sons, Jimmy Haskell of Indianapolis, IN, Brian deBoer of Paris, IL; special daughter, Marianne Bemis of Indianapolis, IN; sisters & brothers-in-law, Mary & Doug Athey of Terre Haute, IN, Martha & Paul Erwin of Casey, IL; grandchildren, Hunter, Haydyn, Henley, Dallas, Delaney, Ben, Rhiannon, Justin, Phillip, Leigha, Taylor, Michael, Scott, Jacob, Brittany, Lorelei, Chelsey, Sara, Lea; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Ethan, Stella, Kaydance, Sean, Tyler, Eli, Liam, Gabriel, Benjaman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Norman retired in 1991 from Greene County General Hospital as a radiology technologist. He was a member of ISRT and ASRT and Friendly Grove Baptist Church. He was a 50 year Mason of Terre Haute Masonic Lodge F&AM. Norman enjoyed photography, wood-working and loved to work in the yard planting trees and gardening. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday with Masonic Memorial Services and Friday 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. service time at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Dick Smith officiating.
Interment was at Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City, IN with Military Graveside Rites.
