JAMES ROBERT “BOB” EARLYWINE, 81, of Coalmont, Indiana passed away at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in Sullivan County Community Hospital, Sullivan, IN.

He was born November 23, 1932 in Clay County, IN to Harold Earlywine and Harriet (Crist) Earlywine.

Survivors include his daughters & sons-in-law, Rita Duncan of Linton, IN, Jackie & Terry Deschamp of Jasonville, IN, Margie & Doug Hudson of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Sara & Brad Richmond, Doug Duncan, Jennifer & Mike Frey, Joni & Brent Cazee, Ryan & Megan Hudson, Danielle & Brian Barber; 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janice Husband; grandson, Andrew Duke.

Bob graduated from Coalmont High School in 1951. He was a truck driver until his retirement. He was a member of the Friendly Grove Baptist Church. Horses and horseback riding was a great love of Bob’s. He so enjoyed fishing and loving on his grandkids. Bob was a great one to visit folks and tell stories.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. service time  Saturday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Gilbert and Pastor Brad West officiating.

Interment was at Friendly Grove Cemetery in Lewis, IN.
