ELIZABETH MAE McDONALD, 41, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 6:26 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2026 in Sullivan, IN.
She was born October 31, 1984 in Linton, IN to Arlen Dale McDonald and LuAnn (Hadley) McDonald.
Survivors include her parents; son, Breven; daughter, Braelyn; siblings, Melissa McDonald; Kambri Ellis (Brandon), Jeremy McDonald (Whitney), Lee McDonald (Lacey); aunts and uncles; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; uncles, Mark Hadley, Jeff Hadley; and other aunts and uncles.
Elizabeth graduated high school and went on to complete QMA training that she used at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility, Dr. Kristina Thompson’s office and Bethesda Gardens in Terre Haute. She attended church at Friendly Grove Baptist Church and United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 172 Jasonville. She designed T-Shirts, pampered her dog, Gerti, enjoyed spoiling her 2 children, and being with her pot belly pig, Mr. Pig. She looked forward to going to the covered bridge festival and picking tomatoes from the garden. Every Monday after dialysis, she would treat herself to Denny’s.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday August 24, 2026 at the Funeral Home. Service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor David Smith officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Elizabeth’s name to help with funeral expenses.
