EVERETT E. ELLIS, 80, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, IN

He was born November 4, 1931 in Clay City, IN to Henry Ellis and Flora (Blanton) Ellis.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Donna Rose (Kent) Ellis of Jasonville, IN whom he married on February 9, 1952; son & daughter-in-law, Tony & Mary Ellis of Jasonville, IN; brothers & sisters-in-law, Larry & Pat Ellis and Gary & Leandra Ellis both of Bloomfield, IN; grandchildren, Amy & Mike Moriarity of Bluffton, IN and Emily & John Kramer of Bruceville, IN; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Hayley & Autumn Moriarity and Luke & Kent Kramer; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Anna Mae Cruse.

Everett was an Independent Truck Driver and Farmer. He had attended and been a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Sebring, FL.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 4–8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Myron Young officiating.

Interment was at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
