ESTELLE “LLOYD” MAYFIELD, 75, of Brazil, Indiana and formerly of Jasonville passed away at 8:30 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 in Exceptional Living Center in Brazil.

He was born September 13, 1943 in Linton, IN to Gilbert Asa Mayfield and Juanita Louise (Morgan) Mayfield.

Survivors include his sisters, Eula Mahan (David) Sr. of Brazil, Ramona Denny of Jasonville; nieces and nephews, Tracie Mahan of Brazil, David “D.J.” Mahan Jr. of Brazil, Tammy Mayfield of Jasonville, Richard “J.R.” Denny Jr. of Jasonville, Jack Denny of Jasonville; great niece and great nephews, Richard “Richie” Denny III of Jasonville, Joshua Denny of Worthington, Macy Denny of Jasonville, Joseph Denny of Jasonville, Jessica Carter of Jasonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill Mayfield and Demery Mayfield; nephew, William Troy Mayfield.

Lloyd worked approximately 35 years at local gas stations as a station attendant. He had attended the Jasonville Church of God. Lloyd was a long-time Cubs and Packer fan. He helped coach and umpire little league baseball and liked to play softball. He loved his family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Cremation was chosen and A Gathering of Friends is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Memorial Services will immediately follow visitation at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Heard officiating.
