EVELYN DELORIS (STIFFLER) STALCUP, 77, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 1:45 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018 in Shakamak Good Samaritan Center, Jasonville, IN.
She was born April 29, 1941 in Greene County, IN to Albert Stiffler and Evelyn Marie Stiffler (Barnhart).
Survivors include her children, Ronnie Stalcup of Gosport, IN, David Stalcup (Jody) of Switz City, IN, Tony Stalcup (Shawn) of West Columbia, South Carolina, Shannon Stalcup of Freedom, IN; grandchildren, Chris, Nick, Melissa, Eric, Kelli, Zack, Sierra, Joy, Ashley and Anthony; several great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Chet Mills of Waveland, IN; siblings, Sara Marie Brewer of Kokomo, IN, Sharon Grizzel of Jasonville, IN, Susie Bair (Don) of Shelburn, IN; several nieces, and nephews; best friend, Sharon Wier of Jasonville; friend and ex-brother-in-law, Gary Johnson of Jasonville, IN; companion, her little dog, Rags.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amber Mills and 2 brother-in-laws, Richard Brewer and Larry Grizzel Sr; ex-husband, Ronald Stalcup; brother, Bob Hardman; step-sister, Betty Ruth.
Evelyn attended Jasonville High School then received her nursing degree from Marion College. She was an RN for 33 years working in the hospitals in the Indianapolis and Danville area. Later, she worked at the Boys School in Plainfield, IN.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until service time at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
