EVERETT JOHN REHMEL, 88, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 9 P.M. Monday, June 28, 2021 in Shakamka Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville, IN.

He was born July 18, 1932 in Greene County, IN to Claude Rehmel and Faye (Clark) Rehmel.

Everett married Pauline J. (Edmonson) Rehmel December 6, 1952 and who passed away on November 22, 2020.

Survivors include his children, Lonnie Rogers (Senoria) of Surprise, AZ, Billie Kennett (Jim) of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Mike Rogers (Tracy), Jimmy Kennett (Paula), John Kennett (Kensey); great-grandchildren, Tyler Kennett (Courtney), Rhett Kennett (Shelby), Mikayla Rogers, Jayden Kennett, Theron Kennett, TaylinKennett; great-great-grandchildren, Jeramiah Kennett, Jenson Kennett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, siblings, Gladys, Raymond, Gene, Herschel, Cordie.

Everett was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He retired from ABB formerly Westinghouse in Bloomington, IN. He was a member of Jasonville Church of God. Everett enjoyed watching wrestling, watching the grandkids play sports. He was a very neat person and was known to mow his yard 3 times a week in the summer. Everett was very positive and was also quite witty.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to Noon Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are Noon Friday, July 2, 2021 with Pastor Shawn Farris officiating. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN with Military Graveside Rites.
